SMS / Text Message Communications.

If you opt in to receive SMS or text messages from Magic Scoop, we collect and use your mobile phone number to send you transactional and marketing messages, including order confirmations, shipping updates, promotional offers, abandoned cart reminders, and customer service replies. The SMS program is available to subscribers in Canada and the United States.

Our website uses cookies, pixels, and similar tracking technologies to keep track of items you put into your shopping cart, including when you have abandoned your cart. This information is used to determine when to send you cart reminder messages via SMS and email.

You can opt in to our SMS program at checkout, on our website signup forms, by texting our designated number, or by otherwise providing your phone number and confirming consent. By opting in, you expressly consent to receive recurring automated marketing and transactional text messages at the phone number provided. Consent to receive automated marketing text messages is not a condition of any purchase. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies, with an expected maximum of approximately 6 messages per month.

We use Klaviyo, a third-party SMS marketing platform, to deliver our SMS program. Your mobile number and related data are shared with Klaviyo and the applicable mobile carriers (including major Canadian carriers such as Rogers, Bell, Telus, Freedom Mobile, Videotron, and SaskTel, and major U.S. carriers such as T-Mobile, AT&T, Verizon, U.S. Cellular, Boost, and MetroPCS) solely for the purpose of delivering messages. We do not sell or share your mobile number with third parties for their own marketing purposes. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
